Beginnings

The start of this journey isn't an easy one to describe. It came to us on a whim but the more we talked about it the better the idea seemed.

We settled on having a food outing every 3rd Friday of the month. We also decided on some of the restaurants that we will go to using recommendations from friends as well as food shows like Diners Drive In's and Dives. The problem we faced was coming up with our name. We threw around several names including:

Roaming Restauranters

Ladies Eating like Men

The Big Tippers

The Nutriwomen

The Fabulous Four

The Four Fatties

The Goodies

The Resto Hoppers

Eating Big on a Budget

Victus

Carpe Cibum

Many of these were just silly suggestions but we really had a tough time deciding on what to call ourselves! We finally settled on C.A.K.E because of our names ( get it? Courtney, Aimee, Katie, and Elizabeth...clever right?). So now we have a name, and we have our new website and blog so that we can begin to document our fun and silly adventures. Stay tuned everyone, it is going to be a wild ride!
